MUN Conference 2019

November 25-27, Greengates School Mexico City

What is MUN all about?

Model United Nations is an extracurricular activity for students between the years of F1 to U6. Its aim is to create an authentic simulation of the United Nations and instill an awareness of modern international diplomacy in students. This activity allows students to gather skills from a myriad of fields, which include public speaking, debating, and teamwork skills, among others. The premise of an MUN is as follows: students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conferences, whose main objective is to provide a negotiating platform to the international delegates to form a resolution and solve the real-life global conflicts.
